REGISTRATION AND AUDITION RULES REQUIREMENTS

 

Ø You must be able to prove at the time of your registration and audition that:

 

 

 You are 12 years and older on January 1, 2020 (which means you must already be born on January 1, 2008). If you were born after this window, you are not eligible to participate this season.

 

Ø If you are asked to audition for one (1) or more of the semi-final rounds of the competition (currently scheduled for April/ May 2020), you MUST be able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of Producer that you do not have any of the following agreements in effect (written or oral):

 

 a contract for talent representation (for example, a talent agent or manager);

 a current filming, commercial or theatre contract agreement;

 a current agreement relating to the use of your name, voice and/or likeness;

 an exclusive acting contract; or

 any other contractual arrangement that would prohibit you from fully participating in the show and/or entering into any contest required by Producer, including an exclusive management contract, filming contract and merchandising contract.

 

Ø Neither you nor any of your immediate family members (spouse, ex-spouse, parents, siblings, children, step-children) or members of your household (whether or not related to you) are current employees, directors, officers, independent contractors, agents, or representatives of “I GOT THE LAST WORD” or their respective parents, subsidiaries or affiliated companies, or any of their respective licensees, successors or assigns;  or entity connected with the production, administration or judging of the auditions or the Program; any television/internet station or channel, cable network, or satellite network that may air or otherwise exhibit the Program or any variation thereof; any person or entity involved in the development, production, or distribution.

 

Other exploitation of the Program or any variation thereof; any sponsor of the Program or their advertising agency; or any person or entity supplying services or prizes to the Program. In addition, to the best of your knowledge, you do not know anyone who is now, or has been in the past two (2) years an employee or independent contractor of any of the entities described in this paragraph. Producer and/or Network /internet reserves the right to remove from the Program any person (including you) Producer and/or Network/internet determines, in Producer’s and/or Network’s/internet sole discretion, if sufficiently connected with the Program or any of the entities described in this paragraph in such a way that creates the appearance of impropriety by participating in the Program. Conversely, Producer and/or Network reserves the right to allow any person to remain part of the Program who may have a connection with the Program or any of the entities described in this paragraph if, in Producer’s and/or Network’s/internet sole discretion, determines that such person’s involvement in the Program does not and will not affect the integrity of the Program.

 

Auditions:

The audition process will be held on two (2) days, Saturday April 4th and Sunday April 5th from 10:00am to 2:00pm on both days.

Each contestant will be allowed 5 minutes or less to perform a piece of their choice.  If you are selected to move on into the contest, you will be notified no later than April 11th, 2020.  Please ensure that all of your contact information is current and correct.
 

Preliminaries:
 

“I Got The Last Word” contest will only select (30) contestants to proceed into an five (5) week contest starting April 18th, 2020. Up to Five (5) contestants will be eliminated each week.  Each category is ten (10) points and contestants can receive up to sixty (60) points based off their performance.   Judges will critique each contestant on the following categories and this will be the grading platform throughout the contest.

2. Comedy

3. Deliverance

4. Versatility

5. Believability

6. Connection

May 16th 7:00pm to 9:00pm
5th round Semi Finals
 

$2,000 cash grand prize will be provided at the end of the contest on this day to the winner of “I Got The Last Word” season 3.
